Report email scams

1. Forward the bogus e-mail as an attachment to:

• reportphishing@antiphishing.com
• Federal Trade Commission at spam@uce.gov
• The spoofing/phishing abuse email address at the company that is being spoofed (e.g. "stop-spoofing@amazon.com")

2. Notify the Internet Fraud Complaint Center of the FBI by filing a complaint on their website: http://www.ic3.gov/

Report a lost or stolen CheckCard 

• During business hours: contact a Tech CU representative at 1-800-553-0880.
• After business hours: call (800) 754-4128.

Report fraud

• If you suspect that you might be a victim of identity theft, act immediately. First, contact the fraud departments of each of the three major credit bureaus, then close all affected accounts:
  • Equifax: 1-800-525-6285
  • Experian :1-888-397-3742
  • TransUnion: 1-800-680-7289
• Finally, report the crime to the local authorities and to the Federal Trade Commission at 1-877-ID-THEFT (1-877-438-4338).

  • U.S. Social Security Administration
