- The American Red Cross, Santa Clara Valley Chapter
Tech CU donated over $17,000 to the local chapter’s Katrina Hurricane-relief efforts, while employees volunteered to cover front desk duties and data entry for five business days. Organization website
- HOPE Services
Tech CU raised over $2,500 for HOPE Services’ Community Employment program in the framework of its new Santa Teresa Financial Center opening. Tech CU donated $10 after each new member in the first month of its opening. Organization website
- Vanished Children’s Alliance
With the help of Tech CU’s charitable donation, the VCA was able to purchase state-of-the-art software to help locate missing children, share intelligence with law enforcement, and disseminate information to the public. Organization website
- Second Harvest Food Bank
10 Tech CU employees participated in a Warehouse Food Sort night on November 29th, 2005, to inspect and categorize donated food items. Technology Credit Union also held a food drive on its premises, collecting 10 big barrels full of non-perishable food items. Organization website
