Tech CU Shred day was a success!

On Wednesday, April 30, 2008, Tech CU provided access to a secure shredder truck for members to safely dispose of unwanted confidential documents. From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., members stopped by the San Jose Financial Center, located at 2010 North First Street (at Brokaw Road), to dispose of financial statements, canceled checks, credit cards, unused convenience checks, tax information, compact discs, and floppy disks.

Tech CU takes identity theft very seriously, and Shred Day is just one way we help give our members peace of mind, knowing their personal information is disposed of safely and won’t get into the wrong hands.

Everyone who participated in Shred Day was able to enter a raffle for a top-of-the-line personal home shredder. Tech CU member Wendy Liedholm was the lucky winner! Congratulations, Wendy!
