Online Banking Users

Once again, Tech CU now offers you the ability to directly import your 1099INT and 1099R tax data directly into the TurboTax suite of products.  Using your member number and Online Banking password, you can now retrieve your 1099 tax data from both the online web and software versions of TurboTax.

Please note, this feature is only available if you have earned $10 of interest or more for 2007.  TurboTax does not support the direct import of 1098 (Real Estate) nor 1099 SA (HSA) interest.

Below are sample screen shots of how you can retrieve your 1099INT data using the web version of TurboTax.

Step 1:  Navigate to the income 1099 INT section, you are presented with the option to directly import tax data into TurboTax.  Simply select “Technology Credit Union” from the list of supported financial Institutions.


Step 2:  You will be presented with a log on screen where you enter your Tech CU member number (not user name) and Online Banking password:

Step 3:  Once validated, your account and 1099 interest amount will appear.

Step 4:  Clicking the Import Now button, your tax data will transfer into the TurboTax product.
